I have the greatest pleasure to welcome you to the official website of Ghana’s Diplomatic Mission in Doha.
Since our official inauguration in May 2018, the Embassy has served as an interface between the Government of Ghana and the host country Qatar. We have also been promoting an enhanced bilateral cooperation between both States, as well as securing the interests of Ghanaians living in the State of Qatar.

The Republic of Ghana
Ghana is recognized as one of the most stable African countries; it ranks 7th on the 2012 Ibrahim Index of African Governance. The country’s major exports are crude oil, gold, diamond, bauxite, cocoa, timber and tropical fruits.
H.E John Dramani Mahama is the sixth President of the Fourth Republic of Ghana. He was also the fourth President of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, having previously occupied the high office of President between January 7, 2013 and January 6, 2017. He is an avid reader, author, and historian. Over the course of his career, he has written for several newspapers and authored several publications. He has also published a memoir, his first book, titled ‘My First Coup d’État and Other True Stories from the Lost Decades of Africa.’
H.E Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang is the Vice President. She is a distinguished academic, administrator and civil servant.
