Agreements, Accords, & MOUs
The Embassy has facilitated the signing of the following agreements between the Government of Ghana and the Government of the State of Qatar:
- Memorandum of Understanding “MoU” between the Government Of Ghana And the Government of the State of Qatar on Mutual Recognition of Marine Competency Certificates for Seafarers Working at Sea.
- Draft Letter of intent on security cooperation between the General Directorate of Public Security of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Ghana.
- The Memorandum of Understanding on trade and investment protection, and promotion between Ghana and the State of Qatar.
- Agreement between Ghana and the State of Qatar concerning the Regulation of Manpower Employment in the State of Qatar.
- Agreement on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income.
- Agreement on the Exemption of Visa Requirement for Holders of Diplomatic and Special Passports.
- The Memorandum of Understanding on Conducting Bilateral Consultations with the State of Qatar.
- The Memorandum of Understanding for the Establishment of Joint Business Council between Ghana’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce.
